We are pleased to announce we will be helping to support patients and families in Worcestershire as we raise money for St Richard’s Hospice, our chosen charity of the year.
Following a unanimous staff vote, we will host a range of exciting activities and events to fundraise for St Richard’s Hospice throughout 2017.
We have already held our first event with ten independent venues invited to a mini expo at our office in Berkeley Business Park, which raised over £400.
Tricia Cavell, fundraising director at St Richard’s Hospice, commented: “We are delighted to have been chosen as arrangeMY’s charity of the year and are thrilled that the staff voted to support the hospice.
“Our care for patients and their loved ones is free and is available for however long it’s needed, but we can only do this with the amazing support we receive from our community and companies like arrangeMY. We very much look forward to working with the team during 2017.”
arrangeMY chief executive Simon Scott, added: “It’s very important that staff are able to have their say on which charity they would like to support each year. St Richard’s Hospice provide free care and support to over 2,500 patients and family members, as well as directly helping two members of our own team in the past year.
“I am also supporting the charity further by volunteering on a weekly basis and look forward to continuing this support in 2017.”
